Modbus Thermostats

A Modbus Thermostat is a smart thermostat that communicates with a central Building Control System (BCS) using the Modbus protocol. This allows for centralized monitoring and management of your building’s climate, leading to better control and energy efficiency.

Intronics offers two types of Modbus Thermostats:

  • ON/OFF Controls: This is the simpler type, essentially turning your heating or cooling system completely on or off based on the temperature.
  • PI (Proportional-Integral) Controls: This is a more advanced control method that provides smoother and more stable temperature regulation.
