PI Thermostats

This is a 24 Vac floating/modulating digital thermostat that provides proportional + integral (P+I) control for optimum temperature regulation and comfort in HVAC systems. It is available as either a single-piece or two-piece device.

Single-piece devices

All components are contained within a single unit.

PI-01 Thermostat

A single-piece device, the PI-01 is a 24 Vac floating digital thermostat offering P+I control and a single fan speed. It operates with no ON/OFF switch.

PI-02 Thermostat

A single-piece device, the PI-02 is a 24 Vac floating digital thermostat offering P+I control and a single fan speed, complete with an ON/OFF switch.

PI-03 Thermostat

The PI-03 is a single-piece, 24 Vac modulating digital thermostat (0-10V or 2-10V). It offers P+I control and a single fan speed but does not include an ON/OFF switch.

A key feature of the PI-03 is its Valve Position Checking Feature. If a valve with position feedback is used in the system, an alarm will alert when the valve’s actual position deviates from the commanded position.

PI-04 Thermostat

The PI-04 is a single-piece, 24 Vac Modulating Digital Thermostat (0-10 V or 2-10V). It offers P+I control and a single fan speed and includes an ON/OFF switch.

A key feature of the PI-04 is its Valve Position Checking Feature. If a valve with position feedback is used in the system, an alarm will alert when the valve’s actual position deviates from the commanded position.

Two-piece devices

The products consist of two pieces: a main unit and a display unit. Both are connected by a communication cable.

PI-W2 Thermostat

The PI-W2 is a two-piece device using the Wall 2 panel. This 24 Vac Modulating Digital Thermostat (0-10V or 2-10V) provides P+I control and offers 3-fan speeds with Auto operation.

It also includes the following features:

  • Energy Saving Mode: If the room door is left open, the system will turn off the A/C or raise the temperature, and adjust the fan to its lowest speed.
  • Valve Position Checking Feature: If a valve with position feedback is used in the system, an alarm will alert when the valve’s actual position deviates from the commanded position.

PI-W3 Thermostat

The PI-W3 thermostat is similar to the PI-W2 thermostat, but it uses the Wall 3 panel.

PI-W4 Thermostat

The PI-W4 thermostat is similar to the PI-W2 thermostat, but it uses the Wall 4 panel.
