Lighting Controls

Intronics offers a variety of lighting controls using RS-485 Modbus RTU. These controls are specifically designed for large spaces like stadiums and the common areas of high-rise buildings.

The following components are used in the lighting control system.

IoT Integrator

The IoT integrator acts as the central control unit, managing communication between all devices. It provides various lighting controls via RS-485 Modbus RTU, including on/off control, dimming, scene setting, individual or group device management, and scheduling.

On/Off Control

The RC-8 is a Modbus relay controller designed to manage 8 circuits for on/off control.

Specifications:
  • Input: 8 local switches (push buttons)
  • Output: 8 channels (relays 230 Vac, 20A resistive load per channel)
  • Service Override: 8 onboard mechanical switches
  • Status Indicators: The status of each relay (lamp) is displayed on the RC-8 unit itself, on a smart switch, and on a computer screen.
  • Self-Check: The unit performs a self-check of the actual relay output for alarm purposes, which is indicated via a Modbus point.
  • Communication: Uses the RS-485 (Modbus RTU) protocol.

Dimming Control

DM-2 Modbus Controller
Used for dimming LED strip lights.
PL-2 Modbus Leading Edge Dimmer
Ideal for dimming incandescent, halogen, and leading-edge phase dimmable LED lamps.
PT-2 Modbus Trailing Edge Dimmer
Perfect for dimming trailing-edge phase dimmable LED lamps.

Lighting Scene Control

You have complete control over your lighting, whether you want to manage a single device or a whole group. Using a smart switch, smartphone, tablet, or computer, you can easily set the lighting to match any mood you desire. This allows you to create and recall specific lighting “scenes” such as:

  • A “relaxing” scene with soft, warm light.
  • A “productive” scene with bright, cool light for working.
  • A “movie” scene with dimmed lights for the perfect cinematic experience.

This feature gives you complete control to instantly transform the atmosphere of your room.

Individual or Group Lighting Control

Whether you want to control a single light or a whole group, you have complete control over your lighting. You can easily manage any lighting device in your system using a smart switch, smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Lighting Schedules

You can schedule and control your lighting for individual devices or groups of devices. The system supports up to 24 daily events, giving you detailed control over your lighting throughout the day.

Control options include:

  • On/Off Control: Click on the lights in the dashboard to switch them on or off.
  • Scene Settings: Activate pre-configured lighting scenes.
  • Individual or Group Control: Manage single lights or a group of lights at once.
  • Scheduling: Automate your lighting with customized schedules.
